The number of scallop in three collectors was equal to the number on deck of F/V Kathy Marie.

This is a 10 minute tow from Nantucket Lightship, about 100 bushels on each side or about six ton total.

These scallops were cut out to about 1,500 pounds of scallop meats. When the area opened for fishing the
following year, many vessels were able to catch the 10,000 pound trip quota in about 2 hours of bottom time.
